When I buy a new timing belt kit, gasket set, get the head cleaned up, clean the whole engine and paint it, pit a new water pump, fit new....... You broke it Matthew when you thrashed it... Your bad

yeah got that wrong, book figure is 8.5,(thats the 125 bhp model, and mines was the earlier 117bhp model, but had jetex full system, and de-restricted airbox, which brings it to about 124 bhp, this isnt a guess,I know sumone with identical car to mine and he got 126bhp on RR with the jetex system de-restricted airbox and pannel filter.) but still isnt that much difference, 1 second. (and my insurance will double)

u got to say mate what do u want from the car ???
2 things off the top of my head about my corsa
great power to weight ratio
can lick most things on the road from the get go
and the simple fact it feels much faster than a standard 1.8 astra will

I want something with good acceleration, feels fast, Fun to drive and sounds good (Induction kit and exhaust system, eg scorpion grp A)
Also what do they handle like? as corsas arent the best chassis handling wise
