That house prolly cost less than £100k

This is my Dads house in the mountains near Pittsburgh

And this is his barn

Him and his wife paid less than $200k for it. Have spent the past 6 years doing loads to it. He's now looking at moving to Arizona or South Carolina

Nickyboy your old mans house is cool as fuk, his barn is bigger than most peoples houses.

A house that size over here would be in excess of £500k very easily.

I wonder how much that smaller house above would cost???

over here that wud cost ALOT more than £500k, ur talkin well into the millions, my boss' house was valued at £850k and is no where near that size, yet he has full size pool, 6 double bedrooms, MASSIVE garden, gym, sauna, sunbeds, etc

It is quite big but only has 4 bedrooms.

The American way is to have big rooms as apose to lots of them. The mud room is the size of my lounge and it leads into a huge reception room which doubles as the dining room, the thing i like is that they all open to each other i.e. no doors, so you get a great sense of space. They also got 2 sun rooms which run half the length of both floors at the back of the house.
