Lloyds TSB Gold
Barclaycard

And all the people who get into debt with them, it's about control......if you impulse-buy, then don't get a credit card; if you can control your spending and only use them when you absolutely need to, they're fine.

I tend to just put petrol on mine, along with MOT, services, insurance, and suchlike.

I just have a Yorkshire Bank Visa, only got it in case I was out somewhere or abroad and needed money in an emergency.

They gave me £1200 credit immediately, bought a few items from ebay and paid off using Paypal (which is linked to my c/c), and bought 6000 fags from abroad for mine and my girlfriends parents and they have just put my limit up to £1700

They are fine if you only buy stuff you know you can afford and pay off immediately. Had mine about a year and spent about £50 in total (plus the £620 on fags, which isn't my debt)
