Hi, was looking at the mtech web site and saw there quick shift kits for a corsa with c20xe,
something like this
Its £70, and as im an engineer, could modify a std link easily, just need the dimensions of the specific part

Shorten the linkage by about 20mm and you'll have a quickshift. Also, you'll be wanting the quickshift for an F15, F20 or F28 not a C20XE as a C20XE is an engine not a gearbox.

u dont want a linkage for an f20 or f28. u need it for a corsa. just shortening it by about 20mm will not make it a quickshift

yep if you compare it to a nomla one you can see the diffrences in the pivot ball postion
changes the gear throw so much, so little movement to get it into gear, 100% improvment, would deffo suggest it

Broster has a quickshift for his Corsa (not F20 tho).
Stop being a pikey and just buy the MTech shortshift. It includes the metal linkage bar for the F20 / Corsa conversion so it's worth the £60-70 odd.

Not out, but they're on the top of the gearbox, so it's a knuckle scraping job.
Saying that, i've no idea where the linkage actually is or how you fit it so please disregard my statement above.
My gearboxes are off the car and in gardens, so they look easy enough to fit them there.
