I got a phone call from O2 3 weeks after they gave me this new phone telling me that the damaged phone would not be repaired under warrenty because it has water damage

The day I got my 6230 I spilled a glass of water in it and busted it. I took it back to the Vodafone shop and told them I couldn't charge the battary and they gave me a new one.
On a Motorolla I had I dropped it and knackered the ariel, I took it back to Vodafone and old them it wouldn't get any reception and they gave me a new one...
