Hi Guys, i got a mate at vauxhall to link my car 2 the tech 2 thingy. it came out with...."Linear exhaust gas re-circulation (EGR) position" i asked one of the mechanics and well basically im not sure if he was a trainee tea maker he was that useless. any suggestions as to what part needs replacing or just cleaninig up would be great.

dunno? but might be worth looking in the haynes manual for the EGR sensor?

its a fcuker to get to its right below the inlet manifold

Clean it up and blank it off with some suitable plates

Cheers Guys. Well my car hasn't stalled or the engine management light hasn't come on for the last few days. someone told me if the error code is cleared on this tec2 it sometimes solves the problem. is this tru or total pish?
