Gutted mate !

A Vauxhall Garage near me does the diagnosic checks for free.

And I think almost every one on here has had problems with the Idle control valve too.

Hey Dave where does that?

The Vaux garage in slough charges £76 for a diagnostic check!

I put more money on it being the Air Flow meter to be honest... (I think this is the current problem with mine at the mo)

I've had both AFM and Idle control valve go on mine and I've replaced both... - both are very common

I've had both of those problems on mine

The garage is Vauxhall's AA Clark of Bracknell - 01344 481924

I live in Wokingham, in between Reading and Bracknell, so it's nice and close.

They have done ALL of the work on my Corsa. I have got all their VX stamps and at Reasonable prices too

My SXi had 3 IACV's and then there was a update for the ECU which they put through my car the last time it was changed which cured it.

I never paid once for a IACV or for it to be plugged in and the car had done 62,000 miles in 2 years.

Depends if its B or C . Vauxhall are changing all engines to long life chain belts instead of rubber types. Tougher and less maintanence.
