This worked for me at university many years ago. 60mm on a B is enough Release fee was only a fiver. Three clamps on standard suspension, cost me 15 quid a year to park. You can't beat that in NCP

I parked near Manchester airport on a company's car park. There were no signs that I could see but when I got back a guy from the business (breakdown recovery type thing) said he would've clamped my car but he couldn't get one on

My mate got clamped where I live as he forgot to show the permit the clamping company didn't care so we took the clamp off.

The chain was round the suspension so we removed the wheel as much as we could then unscrewed the suspension bolts and droped the suspension we then hooked the chain over the top.

Took us about 45 mins and didn't damage the clamp. We left the clamp for them to pick up.

He hasn't heard from them as of yet

If you get the clamp off undamaged, keep it and write them a letter saying you're charging them a storage fee of £50 a day until they pay to have it returned.

If they say you've stolen it, just say it was attached to your property and you didn't realise it was there until you drove home..
