It's only supposed to fit NON-Ecotec models but I tried it on my X16XE and it was only *slightly* fouling on the battery. It's pre-flattened over the battery, but looks like it just needs a bit of persuasion with a mallet

I gave up, hence it can be yours for the low price of just a purple.

I'm guessing it's a universal non-Ecotec strut brace? Would that mean a 1.2 8V fitment?

Only by powers of deduction. On the FK site it doesn't explicitly say "1.2 8v" but yeah it should fit.

Yup, from the looks of it it's designed to fit every non-Ecotec, so 1.2 8v and 1.4 8v
