Hey peeps!
Just a genral question really.I have a full stainless system but i still have the cat. Whats the score with de cat is it worth it?+if so once its in is it just a case of re setting da ecu by leaving the battery dis connected over night then allowing it to run in the morn for 5min?

Thanks for any help

ECU is self learning so there is no need to reset it.

Will sound better with a decat and a replacement cat costs a bit, so stick a decat on and swap over the cat pipe when needed.

Alternatively... stick in a C20XE from a pre-92 registered car and you don't need a cat

but if the ECU is self learning then surely it means that it will no the cat has gone and alter all the fuel ratios??unless those ratios are set?

it will only alter to a certain amount, or people would run throttle bodies on standard management. for the record you ecu will learn faster if you "reset" it
