rite iv got a 4 channel amp and a DVC sub if i wire 1 channel to each ov the voice coils on the sub will this be running at 2 ohms??????? and il have 2 channels left for sum speakers

depends on the sub impedance

on the box it says " dual 4 ohm 1-1/2"voice coil"

the amp iv got will run 2ohms but not bridged lowest is 4 ohms bridged. if i wire the sub in series it will be 8 ohms! wud the amp be ok with this when bridged??

wat is the power oput put of the amp, and the rated input of the sub...

basically if you have a sub with 2 4 ohm coils and a 4 channel that can run 4/2 ohms single and 4 ohm bridged your options are..

run each coil off of a single channel showing each channel 4 ohm.

run each coil off a pair of bridged channels, doubling the power u r giving to it, and still running at 4 ohm

run both coils from a single channel (probably not enuff power) showing a 2 ohm load on the single channel.

il run each coil off a single channel thats my best bet the power will be spot on then! thats the question i meant to ask at first just making sure that i could do it this way. using a pair ov bridged cannels wud be to much power!
