I wana buy a crazy 10" sub, and i saw the Rockford RFR3110...

Dual voice coil
1000 watts RMS
2000 watts Peak
2 Ohms

My amp, is a rockford x6. All websites and everything says it does

850x1 @ 2ohms
425x1 @ 4ohms

However, it comes with a certificate to say its max power is 1221 watts@ 2ohms..

Anygay, what i wana know is, can i succesfully put this sub n amp together (keeping gains lowish) and get good results, or will everything just burst into flames? (obvious exageration there...)

No they are pretty much a perfect match as long as you keep the gains down a tad

The 1221w at 2ohm is when the engine is on, with the alternator giving it 14.4.
