Whats the best way to do this as my friend is having major probs !

Doesn't have CD though so are there any websites to sort the pc out or anything

take it they have windows cd?

just use that, do fresh install, delete partition and recreate a new one

I think she means can she download it onto cd and then re-install it from that cd ?

If it's a shop-bought computer, it might have a recovery partition instead of a recovery CD?

If she goes to my computer and she has only 1 hard drive, she will see two hard drives in there if she has the recovery partition.
