take a power feed from your head unit, whack a fuse n switch in n ur away

this has got to be the simplest task possible, attach the positive wire to a postitive wire from your car (h/u, cig lighter, int light) then the black to another ground wire or extend it to the bodywork and screw down.

but if you arent using the device which you tapped into the live of, then it hasnt got the adequate fuse protection.
