fitted head unit yesturday but now the middle screen on the mfd isnt showing anything is there any cables that i need to buy to get it to work?

usually if u fit an aftermarket head unit the mfd wont display radio station etc. u can cut a wire so it will always show the date, but cant remember which one. do a search on it, it will be there somewhere.

it's a red wire with a grey stripe iirc

I had to cut mine, but my mate has an aftermarket stereo, and his mfd still displays the radio station etc

Some headunits (Sony spring to mind) will still work with the standard mfd.

Just snip the red and grey wire though,not really worth getting stuck with a Sony headunit just so the mfd works properly.

my sony one doesent but ye its deffinetly the red and grey wire in the iso loom!
