for some reason at home i cannot access certain website such as, http://www.allmusic.com
the website loads and it says "done" in the status bar, but only a white bacground it displayed.
Any help would be great,

keep hammering ctrl+f5 to refresh the cache
the website seems to work here, so im guessing its something to do with either the cache in your pc or transparent proxy's that your ISP use - eitherway a few refreshs should solve it. Although if you ISP has different proxy servers that you can change, then select another...it might help

open DoS see if you can ping/trace to it, do you have firewall / anti virus enabled?

yes i do have firewall/anitvirus, the problem is the same with my laptop. They both have the same software installed, which makes me think its something to do with that?

Sounds like antivirus software disallowing things to be displayed.
If you're getting other sites then I doubt its a network problem.

Don't go to web sites that your anti-virus software doesn't like.
Or disable it.
The former being more preferable.

if your using something like norton internet security would just put the site in the allowed list.

If its norton, turn off script blocking.
