j/c if anyone heres done this, but is it hard to convert a engine from spi to mpi? I take it you would need the alternate ecu for the engine and the alternate inlet manifold, but would that be it or what??

Not planning on doing it, im j/c bout what it would take....

You'd need, crank pulley for trigger, oil pump for sensor mount for trigger wheel. Inlet, high pressure fuel pump, loom, cam, head exhaust manifold and down pipe.
As the head design is different can't just bolt on bolt off. Might aswell swap whole engine. you pretty much need it.

y the exhaust manifold and downpipe? The only poss difference i could think of, would be if the mpi system doesnt use the lambda on the exhaust mani, but i would of thought it would have.

Cause the 1.4 has a cast 4-2 then a 2-1 down pipe, unlike the 4-1 cast that the 1.2i has. Although it will fit, not the best thing if you're hungry for power.

Twin carbs would be easier from a not having to remove the engine perspective.
