have you had any issues with it coming away from the bumper? ie the bit that's bonded on?

thats damn good work there mate, a lot better than what mine looks like

I have a feeling the process is irreversible though without spraying the whole of my front bumper again.

erm.. yes.. remove bumper and get a sharp stanley knife.. if they used sticka flex or similar you shoud be able to get it off.

Did you paint the final black finish ya self, if so using what method, its a good finish

i just used halfords spray cans.
