Ok, i have this computer problem where a computer at work will boot up all on its own.
Im not sure if this is a hardware fault or some kind of setting in the bios?
I googled it but there wasnt much about it, a few other people reported the problem but no answers

no. im not talking about re-booting!

some bios have the feature to boot up at a certain time, if the computer is connected to a network then it could be the Wake Up On LAN (WOL) feature where a network event can power up the machine.
I normally set my machines to power up if they detect a power source, this way in the event of the power going out... when it comes back on the machine will boot its self up.

or if the computer is connected to a modem (dial up modem), make sure wake on modem is switched off too cos every time the phone rings it will turn em on
