aparently my mates just bought a minter for £100 of some guy who had it in a barn for 18 months!

Whats the spec on em, bhp + torque etc? what are they worth? i know the engines are popular in 205s.

160bhp arent they, most figures are near identical to xe's, heard that the engines are so similar you can swap the heads on them without much work, bottom ends are known to be a bit unreliable though

Can nearly put any engine in a 205

Can remeber one with full cosworth 4x4 running gear

Bet that went like stink.

yes, its what i want to do, as externally there almost identical, but the xe is more common and more reliable, so an easy conversion, although a LET 205 would be fun

mint around 1k, not worth much TBH, in a couple of years they will be though as the mi16 was only in this a a citroen bx, so wont be many left

hmm these cars are well rare like cav turbos as people rip the engines out for 205s as we do for corsas and novas.....

i can believe there are more Mi16's in Australia than the UK, I see them so much out here. And all free of rust and damage. They are lovely n black.
