Joff mate would just like to say i fitted a foam filter and drilled my air box and it just fooked up my AMM!! and it was PVD jobbie i.e.PIPERCROSS

Yeah, nothing will make it quick so i'll leave it for now. Enigne conversion is out of the window since I am getting my Civic 1.5i VTEC in 6 months... I'll just have to put up with this engine for now.

Pipercross don't recommend drilling the airbox - so you might want to point the finger elsewhere... Pipercross filters are OE replacements, not filters for bodged airbox mods 
If you still think it's the filter that blew your AMM, get it in writing to Pipercross and mark it for customer services.

Yup, over-oiling (which the customer does) is to blame for nearly all MAF/AMM failures.

I never oiled the filter never got any oil with it, was i supposed 2?
And also my mate had the filter off me and it did the same tohis without a drill job

Pipercross induction kit is best bet! order them from all modding shops
