you are allowed to go in and take a sofa thats twice the price of yours, if you cant find one that is, take 2 to make it double the proce, your also allowed to help yourself to anything in the store.
this is only when you take the law into your own hands btw

Youneed to find out who supplies courts with your sofa--- If you paid cash the sofa should have been allocated to you from the supplier immidiately. This means you can claim your sofa straight from the supplier.

The government has a process where you can claim your money back...
I had a similar situation when I was working for a company which went bust...owing me a months wages...you claim it back off the government...
Go to citizens advice...

Think that depends on the administrators? Im in retail and when i make a sale the stock is immiediately allocated to the customer from the supplier---that means you should have your goods sat in a warehouse somewhere--- It will probably be down to you to locate and collect it

Then it will be up to the supplier to regain the money, not the customer--- courts should have a direct account with the supplier that will immediately allocate stock to customer and transfer money to supplier. the supplier would either have got the money already or will have to fight for money from administrators------either way the stock belongs to the customer

I've sent a claims letter to the admin, as directed on the shop door and on their web site. It probably go in the bin. But i'm only £370 short, just imagine others who's going to lose thousands.
