Right im fed up working for the company im working for now.

Ive pretty much found a new job.
My boss is a complete A-Hole. propper nob. When things o wrong its my fault. He knows nothing about who our customers are or whats going on with anything and for a 'Support Manager' thats pretty poor to be honest.

I have to stop my self from hitting him all the time. Hes been trying to get something to work on and off for about two months for some one and i showed him how to do it in about 3 mins today and he didnt say anything just went off and told them. Ten mins later they came down and said cheers to him!

im on a 7 week notice period tho

So should i leave him in the shit and laugh at him when i hand my notice in?

yeah do it, if you are not being appreciated fcuk him. Try and find a way to make his boss realise that his technical knowledge is shite and that he has to rely on you all the time.

Make sure you have the new job, ie signed for.
Tell your boss you are handing your notice in unless things change including your salary to match what you have been offered elsewhere
Do not tell them where your job offer is for.

Watch them squirm and possibly offer you what u deserve, or probably come up with some inadequate pay rise with promises (yea right!) for future raises and bonuses

Then leave!

You sound like the ideal candidate for a raise

No company can afford to support someone if the work simply isn't there. It sounds like they'll be happier if you move on as they're saving however much they're spending on you now.

The answer is yes, get a new job.

The bad news is everywhere is the same. Bosses don't need to know things, they need to know how to get other people to do things for them. Thats why they're the boss.

Oh the work is there my boss just wont leave me alone to get on with it. he always has an idea and ends up in the wrong and ive have to start it all over again and do it my way.

The contract between us and our customers says we will always have some one available between set hours etc etc and needs a minimum off two members of staff.

Well there is two now. me and my boss!
