LOOK STEVE
"hi,
i am a total n00b when it comes to Nitro RC and i thought this would be a good introduction to nitro, so far its been lots of fun just received my latest issues with:- clutch bell, clutch shoes, roller bearing, and a carb , engine comes with my next set of issues , guess i have at least 6 months before its finished tho , i bought a set of ballrace bearings to use instead of the standard bushings and i am also going to get a proper exhaust after having a chat with the very friendly staff at the local hobby shop, either a "Tamiya TGX" (Torque tuned) Pipe and manifold or "Associated NTC3" (RPM tuned) side exhaust and manifold will fit, both pipes should give much better performance than the standard muffler so i guess the choice comes down to looks, the Tamiya pipe is matt black finished aluminium and will give better top end performance whereas the Associated pipe has a shiny blue anodised finish and is longer and fatter, looks the mutts nuts and will give a boost to low end performance, they also tried talking me into buying a 2 speed transmission to increase top speed but with me being a novice i decided it could wait, hope im not the only one to keep up the subscription...
share you experience, l8rs"

I got the first issue with a wheel and some other bits then it said *please note: the issue with the engine will be substantially higher than the other issues*
So then i didnt bother

just looked on the website:
When can I expect to receive the engine part of the car ?
We can confirm that the engine part for the car will come with a later issue in the series and that it will also be a higher price than the regular issues.

if they don't say that though, loads of people like me will buy the issue as a back copy just to get an engine as a spare.
