Better to regret the things you've done than the things you haven't done.

It would have been a thousand times harder for you to deal with your friend's death than a petty argument that (if he has any sense) he will apologise and thank you for in a couple of months time.

I'd say u did right thing, i'd also ask why you are mates with him not saying doing drugs is all bad but driving etc etc smashing head on with sum1 not good.

u probably(as we dont know all the ins and outs, but we dont need to.) did the right thing. When he comes round and it settles down he should see u was being a mate. If not its not worth being a mate with him is it?
