Wanting to sort my room out a bit. Was wondering if it was possible to hook up my tv so the sound runs through my surround sound pc speakers? Cheers.

run the output of your tv to the "line-in" on your soundcard

yeh.

I've brought my pc back from uni, but couldn't be bothered to bring my screen home (so rather than switching between the home pc screen) - I've plugged that and sound into my tv.

It's like a home entertainment system now.

I'm downloading films and watching them on wide screen with surround sound, while sitting on a sofa
