Was planning on going to the Glasshoughten Outlet today (about 60 miles away)!
Left at 10.30, just got back home (12.30) took me 30 minutes to get out of Hull, got to Goole and the bridge is down to 1 lane (a lorry on it's side on fire!) Then thought ok, straight road, should be fine now! Got about 5 miles up the M62, stand still traffic, never moved in 5 minutes so thought sod this. Got on the M18 to turn rouns, debris on the road, fooking wooden pallets
Took me almost 1 and half hours to get 30 miles and then 30 minutes home
Only to then find that the 2 conifers we have outside the front door have blown over, smashing the new xmas lights we put on them!
