i want it for a centre console , so would it be best to break up a cd case , roughly glue this where i want the fibreglass to be , then put the fibreglass on top of this and sand it to the shape i want?

ive tried mdf ,didnt work out good , whats "CSM"?

chopped strand mat, use wood to make a shape, put fleece over it and resin it so it sets, then use CSM over the top to get strength. Sand and use filler to smooth, all done.
