I'm looking on ebay atm , at desktop computers but I'm not sure on what is an acceptable spec for one ?

What is the minimum you would recommend in terms of ram , processor speed , hard disk etc ..

I can recommend dell... I bought one from them 2-3 months ago 2.6ghz 256 ram, dvd, 80gig, keyboard, mouse for £170 and its been running fine for what i use it for (INTERNET, MUSIC, VIDEOS, and flash games here and there) will be no good for top end 3d games but hey it only cost me £170.
