Right no need to panic....
If its a round bolt face...and you have just rounded off the inside no need to worry.....
If your taking the seats out of the car this method will still work.....
Look at this diagram i drew
Basically file away to opposite sides then get a adjustible screwdriver on it and undo it!
Hope this works!

is it a allen key fastened....?
if so try and get a slightly bigger key, the next size up or try and find an imperial set and whack it with a hammer.
you might get enough meat to undo it.

gator grip....
better drill....
re-grind a 'key' on its head (but seeing as you have been drilling it may not be wise)

I had the same problem :S
This took me ages to sort out.
I tryed allsorts to get this bolt out, it came down to it i had to drull the bolt out..... u wont do this with a normal hand drill u will need a drill which u can either hold upright and leave drilling, i.e walk away because the bolts are hardened it took me a good 2 hrs or so to get mine out :S..
If i had to do it again id drill the head of the screw off, grind the rest of the bolt to the floor.... then use the drill again to get it out, start with small drills and work your way up. :S
U really do need a fixed drill for this as this is no easy task to keep the presure on drill with out sliping :S
