HI,
I had a 16v sri (but wrote it off a few month back) newey, it had 15's and was lowered on gmax and handled VERRRRRRRRY well, and i'm gettin another sri soon (hopefully) and have some 17's to go onit waiting BUT i've herd it might not handle as good (i know nova's dnt handle good with 17's)
anyone know how the handling is?and if it is worse than with 15's or 16's how much worse????
cheers

The best handling is usually from 16's and 60mm so i's reccomend that. Ive got 16's -60mm on coilovers and it handle mint but most people say that 17's are too big for a corsa to handle good.

i find that my 17's on koni shocks and springs down 40mm with a front strutbrace handles superbly! although i do run a 1.6 which is heavier than those that run 1.2's so their experiences may be different i suppose

17"s on mine and handles absoloutely amazingly.
No complaints here. the rolling radius of that againts a 16" wheel & tyre would be minimul so the only difference is in the unsprung weight, which means i think its less sharp.
But i have NO problems and think my car is a dream to drive even when pummeling 200bhp through the front wheels rounda corner it seems to cope fine

17's look great but i find it makes the road real bumpy.
i got 205/40/17 tyres on my GSi and they dont rub at all, makes the car look real good.
go for 17's, cost you more but look a lot better.
Mart.
