me corsa iz dropped 60mm al round on 16's rear arches trimmed up a treat but the glue i used to bond them on wit (No nails exterior) wont grab very wel so the top edge of the plastic has come away from the body to reveal the grey coloured glue! any1 used any better glue which sticks a treat??

i used sikaflex on mine, its used on ships etc, very strong stuff but it neds 2 be the right version, others have also used tigerseal although i have no experience with this.

tiger seal is best ive ever used. wear rubber gloves when using it though! sticky as fook!

takes a while to set, use masking tape to hold it in place

couple of hours to set. its best to keep ot clamped on for a bit. if u cood leave it for an afternoon, thats be perfect. if it gets on body work, wait till it dires, other wise it'll smudge everywhere and get worse. you could get a rag, and dip it in pannel wipe to wipe it off.

Martin when you watched me do it, it wasn't thinners i used to get the excess off, its panel wipe. Use panel wipe to clean the excess off its really good. DO NOT use thinners as it'll make your paint soft and the paint will probably come off with the glue

that sort of stuff takes 24hrs 2 set aswell, as stated on sikaflex anyway.

24 hours to set properly, thats the length of time you should leave it until you wash the vehicle, it has usually dried enough to drive the car after 2 hours

tigerseal is very good, its stuck all 4 of my archs on with no clips orscrews to help it for over a year now and they r still sturdy.

u need to go to a bodyshop paint suppliers, look on yell.com for a local one.
