ladies and gents
Following the Haynes manual for removing the driveshafts from my 1.4 8v and it all seems pretty easy...
So far the long (driver side) driveshaft was removed without a problem by tapping the wanked/disused brake disks and hub assembly do dar, it actually popped out by accident.
The passenger side is a different story, when 'tapping' (with a hammer ) to get the other side out, the hub assembly do dar fell off the drive shaft before the drive shaft fell out of the gearbox.
so now there isnt anything easy/obvious to tap to get it out of the gearbox so what would my fellow brothers in arms suggest to getting the fucker out?
Have a picture
