can't get it chrome dipped...it will melt, have to make do with chrome spray from halfords!!

Yes you can, any good chromer will be able to do it for you. There is a special process to go through to chrome plastic though.

Sorry, my Grandad owns his own electroplating company, he once plated 1 of my old plastic joysticks in gold

I watched gamesmaster and they gave away gold joysticks and i wanted 1, but found out they only spray theres, but mine got a nicely gold plated, was so heavy afterward.

They spray chrome on though, not plate it on.
