right trying to align my gears after new engine put in. cant get plug out top of gearbox any ideas

you really need to get that plug out to do it 100% right as u need to lock there and inside the car.
how have you tryed to get it out? Is it just stick as i know they can be hard to get out.

only other way (but may take abit of time to get right) select the gearbox using the rod out of the top to Rev and then do the same inside lift and slide of the stick to Rev, then tighten.

only thing i can think off, without locking both the box and stick....

big set of grips and rip it out.
