Just been sent these by my dad, car has now been written off and is on his drive, but ive bought it back as salvage for £750. Still not sure what to do yet, im gonna get my mechanic mate to come have a look and see how much he thinks it might cost to repair, otherwise im gonna have to split it Still get upset seeing the pics!

quoted £2000 to fix the damage to mine, although i know i could get it done cheaper, just not sure how much or how long it will take. £1500 damage to the other car, cos it was a new audi Had to go through insurance in the end cos i couldnt afford to pay the damage, so now i lost my no claims and cant afford to insure the 2.0

Its worth that in bits, or most of the stuff will transfer to a new shell.

I personally would splash out a grand or so on another SRi and transfer the bits over. Cheaper than sourcing parts and labour on the leg/inner wing.

i'm in the same boat bruv, crashed me corsa so have not gone through insurance to protect me no claims bonus and to not have a claim for the next insurance which will be for the 2.0L

thats why i have brought a GSI for cheap at £400.

yeah that why im thinking of getting another corsa, ive got to know loads of the mechanics etc, and got so many bits i can use again, only thing is im not sure if i wanna drive a kitted up corsa with a small engine again, got so used to the 2.0! Toying with the idea of selling the stereo and spending the £ on insurance, maybe third party, but it would be such a shame to sell it cos i never got to hear it, finished the install about a week before the crash!

if you have cash in stereo equipment, i'd personally use tht to help myself out and get back on the road - stereo equipment u can easily get at a later date, though i know you said u spent along time on it so it's a tough one what i would do though

Its about £2000 worth of stereo, never been used! Imported it from the states in september 2003, finally got round to sound deadening the whole car, doin the wiring and building custom boxes, then crashed

Really unlucky mate, the car was really starting to come together aswell

Theres alot there that could trensfer over!

If you wanted to keep insurance down dont add a kit and extra things like that it might help keep it down!

looks pretty rapairable to me but thats only from pics! if a garage quoted 2k to repair u can prob do it for much less!!!!
