if its anything like the standard lmaps then the wiring block should just pull straight off backwards then there will be a metal clasp holding the bulb in place

still cant get the bugger off is it i can put my fingers under the rubber seal and there is a clip that bring it out??? or have you got too take the connector off

No need, he's got his mum on the case now, mum's always seem to magic extra strength for jam jar's so a plug will be no probelm
