and I never used ARPs so you don`t need to spend so much money. However they are a safer bet.
The fact hte engine has 85K and is in perfect order must be due to the special race oil I use
im waiting for a post: how to rebild an engine
It's the perfect excuse to increase capacity to 1650-1700cc plus TB's
However I bet it won't explode until then

I have a dbilas fitted to my x16xe, made the world of difference! Its not one of those parts where your trying to notice whether its quicker or not, it just is!! Admitidly you do have to thrash it, power band is right up the top.

But I only use 8000 rpm whem measuring power and torque with my AP22 from Race Technology
Usually I use 7300-7500rpm, racing oil changed every 3K and afiltermag to catch all that ferrous particles

ok...
sbd rollers are made of metal unlike vauxhall ones which are plastic and they are promne to failing at high revs.
superchip does raise the rev limit but its gay and wont do much for power.
jamsport have their own mapper who has his own chip, much like a unichip but cheaper and the option to raise the rev limit is free unlike the unichip, looking 300ish for them to map your car.
you dont need a chip but it will be better....
yeah ill u2u me mobile number...
