ive got trouable with a transponer and a ecu basically i have got a ecu but no key or transponder just wonderin if i get a blank ecu from vauxhall will that solve the problem of not havin a transponder ?

you need to have all 3 matching otherwise you will never get the engine started, i know this as a mate of mine had a engine fitted by Dave france ( fearless motorsport and a Vauxhall Tech/mech) which was a 1.6 16v in his Nova, and the only thing they could do was to get a new chip / immob / ECU programed to all match
