Those of you that have the game, ar you playing it on a slim line PS2 or a older model, and if so how old is the PS2 (approx), just trying to find out if the alleged incompatability with GT4 and older PS2.

i think your onto something here.... put gt4 in my old ps2 and it got stuck inside...dont think it had anything to do with the game tho ratha the carlsberg that was spilt on it last night, ps2's a right off tho

have to use my dads new ps2 and hell, theres no problems there.

some people are claiming problems with older PS2 as sony have used a new Duel layer righting method in production and it is claimed older ones cant read it.

Personally i think it the older PS" dodgy lazer

older one. works fine but it diddnt at first, had to pull it apart and clean all the dust and crap out before it would read the disc. Also its put a scratch right round the middle of the GT4 disc

Mine got covered in Carling & it died for about 4 months
