Basically, i worked for a company for about 2 months after i finished sixth form just before UNI so i could make some money.

At the time i was 18 and i got heavily taxed :s

Anyone know if i am eligable to claim the tax back because i am still in full time education, or can i not claim n e tax back at all???

Cheers

Yes, you should get it back either in stages, if you still work, or as a lump sum (I think). Because you havent reached your £4,750 tax free limit (I presume). I did the same, and i got mine back as i worked much less hours, infact im still getting it back at about £60 a month.

yeah ^^^ thats pretty much right. If u were being heavily taxed you may have been on an emergency tax code, but u will gradually get it back.

Its only the case if you didnt earn over the 4745 mark? Being a student has no effect. I am a full time uni student but i earn about 10k in my part time job so i get taxed.

Think its a rip off, talk about paying for my education twice, once with tuition fees, and again through tax!!

The £4,745 is fixed, is it not? It is rising to £4,895 next month however.
