I had a problem with my corsa sxi 2001, electrics warniing light on dash, car run poor. to cut a long story short.
vauxhall found that it was a faulty crank shaft sensor, when they fixed it for me they also upgraded my ecu software! i tell you what, i dont no if its coz car was running like cr@p but know the car feels "fresh" it is really pulling for longer and just feels quicker! I dont no if you would normaly need to pay vaux to do this ifthere aint a prob with your car but i would recommend this to anyone. i love my corsa again!!!

not bad actually!
updated ecu with new software...hmmmm this smells a bit of bullshit tho, as far as i know, ecu's cant be "updated" as such, only re-set to factory setting. most ecu's use an eprom chip which is a rom device, so u can read from it, and not write onto it.
i might be wrong tho, not too clued up on models after 2000
