Swop them around ever so often. I got 40k out of a set of Stunners. They where not low profile though so i dunno what you should expect realistically.

Keep with the uniroyals, i have used a good few tyres, and nothing is better that i have had...

There quite cheap too and 12k miles isnt bad tbh.
Mine r about 8k old and i still have loads of tread left on my rainsports.

Im gonna be changing to 195/40/17 p zero neros tho, i need a thinner tyre.

I have Toyo proxes on mine htey're pretty grippy in the dry but are poor in the wet plus the compound is really soft so they dont last long but at £30 a pop for 15's they're worth the money imo, bear in mind I have the XE so I go through tyres a bit quicker than the average car

i had stunners on a car i bought once, absolute fookin load of shite, they used to skid everywhere, went flat all the time, and gave up completely at the first sight of any rain

i always buy toyo proxes now, bought them in june last year, fronts lasted 15k and the rears are still good. just replaced the fronts.

they might not last as long as some other tyres, but at only £50 fitted for a 195/45/16 they are nearly half the price of the goodyear f1 eagles.

grip is great in both the wet and dry, even used them on a few trackdays in a peugot 205 gti on throttle bodies pushing out 240bhp!
