do you find the acelerator pedal is very stiff? how the feck to you adjust it....

ive had this problem since i installed the engine.... was driving the misusis tigra last night and her go pedal is feather light

i drove my mates c16xe gsi, and i thought the pedal was very stiff too compared to my x16xe.

My old 1.4 SPi used to be quite stiff But the X14XE is quite soft

Lee Mitchells C16XE throttle is the stiffest pedal I have ever come across in a Corsa.

Oh... so its normal then? i never had a standard inlet on this engine so i had no idea if it was normal or not.......

first thing anyone says that drive the car is "fcuk whats up with that pedal"

Mine aint too bad, was pretty stiff at first but either it got better or i got used to it, probably a bit of both

Mine was never stiff, i didnt have a second return spring though

ive heared that if u take the spring off the cable, and just allow the spring in the butterfly to be used to position the throttle, it makes it a lot less stiff.
