You couldn't get a real carbon fibre gaitor lol! When it cures, it sets hard. Not sure bout the carbon 'look' tho.

carbon fiber gators can be found mate, well someone can make them, i remember seeing a civic or something with raw carbon fiber seats

yes Carbon can be used - Graham the seats your thinking of are nto the ones Brosters on about
The gaitors, seats etc were trimmed in raw carbon - it was never set in resin and and never therefore solid!!!
It could be done and to be honest I don't think it would be too expensive - I'll have a look at making one next time I'm in the workshop when we start our new developments stuff

anything??? wait and see from June onwards
as for seats and gaitor- ud have the sharp edges of the raw carbon weaves so it would be damuncomfy and prickly
