We'll be going out in Donny on Saturday night. Are jeans acceptable there or will I have to get chavved up in my shiniest shoes and black trousers?

depends where you go, sometimes the bouncers are ok but sum are a*£$holes. trilogy wont let you with em from what i remember but other places should be ok

trilogy is good but you always get little chavs who think there sumat and have always got sumthing to prove, you also need to be 21 to get in the on a sat. otherwise moods is quite good but is only a bar. try white bear, if you can get in and theres aruba which used to be revolution

You can wear Jeans on a Saturday night. There picky about trainers though


Best places to go are

Edwards
Courtyard
Aruba
Manyana manyana
The Lounge
Berlins
Biscuit Billys (for a Vodka & Red Bull jug before you go into the night club)

Walkabout is also good as an alternative to Trilogy

goose,yate's & hogs head are alright too.
great Northern's good for a raging bull(5 vodka shots 1 can of redbull) but its full of chavs.
