Just done over 3000 miles in my corsa 1.8 sri and am away to change the oil so the engines had a good history of oil changes.
Whats oil does everyone else use in theres ? just out of curiousity.
Am going along to vauxhall to get the oil and filter later.

dnt vxl use 10w40? i hear that thinner oil is better for shorter journey?

either vuaxhall 5-30 fully syn, or 10w-40 semi (whihc is cheaper) is fine.

10w 40 from vauxhall is a great oil
ive been using it for 4 years now.
two of my mates use it one has e36 and e46 m3s and another has a minted e30 m3 with a e36 m3evo engine in it
if its good enough for them its good enough for us

Got the fully synthetic 5w 30 oil from vauxhall and filter for £17
