Corsa GSi (pre-ecotec)
Corsa GSi (ecotec)
Corsa Sport (1.6 16v)
Astra Sport Mk3 (1.8)
Civic LSi (non-vtec)

Looking for a quicker car as soon as i sell my SRi 8v - can insure them all fully comp
only lookin to pay around £2k for a new car but want it to be fast!

That does not exist. Only the 1.8 16v

corsa GSi precotec of that list.

But for only a 2k car you could have
GT4 celia
cally turbo
etc....

How old are you?

Personally, I'd go for an early original Corsa GSi. Lovely cars as standard and also a good base for you to work on. Making them look even nicer is easy by just adding some speedlines, a subtle drop and a set of smoked rear clusters.

Then you can start on turbo charging or TB's at a later date....if you so desire.

yeh thatts what i was hoping to do, dont want to go ott like my current corsa but want a fast car that dosent stand out too much!
im 18
hard to find a clean gsi with low mileage

There is a 1.8 Mk3 Sport! 125ps
Right at the end on the mk3's production.
Pretty quick motor actualy. but i'd pick the pre ecotek 1.6 GSi, if you can find a fresh one.. if lol

can pay about £2500 at the most but was only looking to spend about £2k

Astra Cesaro has the X18XE which is a nice car for decent money
