If I were to go for a smoothed tailgate, what legal options are there for my number plate.

Obviously there are bumper recesses, but how much would it cost to have one put into my standard bumper? What sort of work needs doing and how much is it?

id like to know this too, about the recess in the standard bumper

theres isnt really legal restrictions on your plates as long as its lit by 2 lights/bulbs or something like that

i have the standard rear bumper with rgm valance smoothed in, then number plate is located in middle where mesh should be, can barely see number plate but is technically legal as is illuminated,

dont the imrscher airdam rear, mcr inta rear, dietrich rs rear all come with recesses

iv used some "design engineering - lite bolts" for mine

Number plate is on the rear bumper - u use these bolts to hold the number plate onto the bumper - they have a slit in the side of each bolt - with a white led in each - so u can have it shining on to ur number plate

will try to get pics in a bit as its hard to explain

think they were about £30 from demon tweeks
