i have a 1.2i 16v. W reg 2000 corsa b
the problem started when me and a friend was cleaning my engine last saturday. we used this spray called "gunk" to clean it then sprayed the engine with water. covering the battery and headlights with bags. Left it on the drive over night, didn't drive it till the next morning. driving along and it keeps misfiring! for example, i put me foot to the floor in 2nd. it stayed at 3000 revs. and didn't do anything, then suddenly kicked it to about 5000 revs.
later we got the spark plugs dryed off due to water had got into where they were. With a strong blower thing. did that twice, drying everything relatied to the spark plugs. After that it was fine!
two days later, (its been sunny since) it started raining. and the problem started again on my way to college. Since, i've brought new spark plugs from vauxhall and put £20 petrol in there incase it was a fuel problem. The problem of misfiring is still there.
I don't know what to do and i'm afraid i'll had to take it to vauxhall and that is probably gonna cost me shit loads
Can anyone help?
